As part of a special gathering for their 5th anniversary, I had the pleasure of conceptualizing and leading a creative textile design workshop for Cabinski.
25 invited guests were encouraged to bring their unique artistic voice to fabric. Free from digital distractions – no phones, just the surrounding nature and our own imagination – we fully immersed ourselves in an analog creative process.

The day began with playful drawing exercises to spark the creative flow. As the workshop unfolded, participants developed their own designs based on sketches and freehand illustrations, which were then transferred onto tea towels. Each piece became a personal expression, woven into the collective spirit of the day.

A true highlight was the collaborative creation of a seven-meter-long tablecloth. Drawing from a wide variety of elements, styles, and spontaneous ideas, a rich and dynamic pattern emerged – a visual reflection of our shared experience.

In the evening, this unique textile became the centrepiece of a beautifully set dinner table, where we gathered to enjoy a meal curated by chef Roman Kramreither. The hand-designed tablecloth became a stage for connection, conversation, and the celebration of what we had created together – turning the day into a truly unforgettable experience.
